A signed counselling agreement will outline session structure, confidentiality, fees, and cancellation terms.

4. Confidentiality

All personal information shared during therapy is treated as confidential.

Exceptions include risk of serious harm, safeguarding concerns, or legal obligations.

Any sharing of information with third parties (e.g. GP, other professionals) will require your explicit consent unless legally required

6. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change. To maintain fairness and availability:

Notice Period: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

Late Cancellations: Less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the full session fee being charged.

Non-Attendance: Missed sessions without notice will be charged in full.

Therapist Cancellations: If your therapist cancels, you’ll be offered an alternative appointment at no cost.

Repeated Cancellations: Frequent cancellations may lead to a review of the counselling arrangement.
